Welcome!

In 2015, I relocated to Arizona from Colorado and taught Science at Arizona College Prep for two years. In 2017, I was a Dean of Students at Chandler High, and from 2018 to 2024, I was an Assistant Principal at Santan Junior High. I am a proud father to three great kids who all graduated from CUSD schools and are now in college pursuing their professional dreams. I am an avid golfer and enjoy attending sporting events.

 

My Education and Professional Background

I began my educational career as a Science Teacher in 1997 in Denver, Colorado.  I taught a multitude of Life and Physical Science courses at the Junior High and High School level.  Most of my educational career was spent at Northglenn High in Colorado, where I taught Biology and Anatomy & Physiology courses for 14 years. I played Junior College baseball at Lamar Community College and finished my undergrad degree at the University of New Mexico. I earned my Master's Degree in Education from Grand Canyon University, as well as completing the Principal Licensure Certificate program from the University of Phoenix in 2013. 

 

My Educational Philosophy

I believe that education is the foundational key to gaining the skills, knowledge, and attitude that will help a person become a healthier, happier, more cheerful, and productive person in our society.
