College Credit- IB/AP/Dual Enrollment

How do you earn college credits while at Chandler High?

 

Chandler High offers students a variety of ways to earn college credits.  Students who take advantage of these opportunities can often start college a semester or more ahead of their peers.  How can students earn credits?

 

1. The International Baccalaureate program allows students the opportunity to  take college-level courses and potentially earn college credits, either by taking at least one IB course and assessment or by completing the full IB Diploma or IB Career Related Program Certificate. 2. Advanced Placement (AP) classes prepare students to take comprehensive AP exams in May.  Based on the earned AP exam score, students are awarded college credit by post-high school institutions.  Chandler High offers many AP exam opportunities.  Students will receive test registration information from their teachers. 

  

3. Dual Enrollment classes offer students college credit based on enrollment in the program and grade earned in the semester class.  Speak with your students' counselor for more information on dual enrollment opportunities and/or check out our Dual Enrollment website here ---->>click here.
