The NCAA and NAIA college athletic divisions have very specific rules that all collegebound student-athletes must comply with in order to participate in college athletics at the Division I and Division II level. The NCAA website is: https://www.ncaa.com
and the NAIA website is: http://www.naia.org.

The NAIA and NCAA Eligibility Center are academic watchdogs for college athletics. Their job is to make sure that student-athletes entering college have adhered to the academic, amateurism, and recruiting rules and regulations. These rules and regulations are explained in detail at http://playnaia.org and http://www.eligibilitycenter.org

To Compete at the NJCAA (junior college) level a student doesn't need to meet specific rules for enrollment and acceptance of scholarships, but there are rules about transferrability of coursework and maintaining eligibility while attending. This information can be found at www.njcaa.org
