Welcome!

Welcome to Chandler High School! I am so excited to be a part of the counseling team at CHS and am looking forward to working with our students and their families. I am Wisconsin native who moved to Arizona in 2018. I enjoy reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family!

My Education and Professional Background

I attended Arizona State University where I received both my bachelor's in Social Work with a certificate in Domestic Violence & Evidenced Based Practice as well as my master's in Social Work. I have been with CUSD since 2022.

My Educational Philosophy

As a social worker, I focus on the inherent dignity and worth of each student. High school can be a challenging time for students, both inside and outside the classroom, and each student's unique experience is recognized and accepted. I hold the value that ALL students are wanted and welcomed at Chandler High School. My role is to be the connection between school, home, and the community with the goal of academic success of each student. I will work collaboratively with administration, students, and their families to provide mental health support, crisis intervention and community resource building.
