Chandler HS Orchestra Program Offerings:

 

Symphonic Orchestra 

Year-long elective 

Violin, Viola, Cello, & Bass (no piano, no guitar)

Accepts players of all levels! 

No audition required

 

Chamber Orchestra 

Year-long elective 

Violin, Viola, Cello, & Bass (no piano, no guitar)

Typically for upperclassmen taking private lessons

Audition required

 

All ensembles participate in:

-At least four concert performances each year 

-ABODA Area Concert Festival

-ABODA State Concert Festival

-District Secondary String Festival 

-Out of state performances 

-Gigs around town ("Golden Neighbors" event at City Hall, AFJROTC events, Chandler CARES, etc.)

 

Program Opportunities

String Quartet 

Students are encouraged to audition for:

-Regional honors & all-state ensembles 

-AMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival
